This chair has a 400 lb. stationary weight capacity so will be sufficient for someone who weights 300 lbs. I have a husband who is 6'5" tall. The anti gravity chairs that he tries at bed, bath and beyond are too short for him to extend his legs. Could you please measure this chair, in the reclined position, from the bar at the head, along the the fabric and down to the chairs foot bar. This chair is 70.9" in length. I hope this is long enough for your husband! What is the actual width between the arms? On another chair it said 19" and it is really 26" This says 20.5" and it seems a little narrow, that is why is am asking for actual width between the arms. The chair has three supports shown in the photo; front, middle and back. The horizontal tubing of the front piece can be retracted back to meet the horizontal tubing of the middle piece. The seat back tips a bit forward and the seat itself is slightly angled down toward the base of the seat back in this position.
