We are doing another family National Park tent camping trip. Last time, we did Yosemite and Utah's Grand Circle tour. This time it will be Yellowstone, Glacier and GT. I think we'll be flying into West Yellowstone/Yellowstone airport. But we'll need to stock up on some supplies like pillows, camp chairs and other necessities. They'll be left behind on our departure, so we don't want to spend a fortune on them. A web search came up short. Are there any Walmart/big box type stores anywhere nearby where we can get supplies? You'd have to drive Rexburg ID, 1.5 hours south of West Yellowstone, to find a Super Walmart. That's your only option. Edited: 12:11 am, September 08, 2016 Bozeman has box stores. ~1.5 hr. Jackson has a Kmart. If you're planning a trip to Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton Parks, Bozeman might be a better airport to fly into than West Yellowstone. A really good option would be open-jaw flying into Jackson, Wyoming and out of Kalispell, MT (or vice-versa).

Depending on your arrival time, you could do some of the drive on your arrival day and spend the night in Jackson Hole (the valley) or Jackson (the town). Then stock up, buy your things and start the camping park of the trip. Just an FYI, West Yellowstone does not do one-way car rentals to my knowledge, so it would need to be round trip from West. Also, I have found the rental prices very high, so be sure to compare everything. (We didn't rent a car, I was just researching options and those were my observations. When we did Glacier and Yellowstone a few years ago we flew into Spokane and out of Billings because flights were cheaper and car rental was a great price.

Also remember what the rental car costs will be.
