The Museum has a full-time support staff to plan and execute your event, and catering is available on-site through Café Calatrava Catering. Booking a rental and hosting an event at the Milwaukee Art Museum is easy. The Museum’s Events department and Sales & Events Coordinators help you through the rental and event planning process, keeping the focus on what will make your gathering a success. The finished works of Catering by Café Calatrava—the tastes, sights, aromas—deliver culinary artistry and elevate the senses.

The catering menu is designed as a template, from which to customize menu selections and dishes to fit your culinary preferences and your specific event. Photo, Film + Commercial Shoots The Milwaukee Art Museum offers many interesting locations for commercial filming and photography. Audi, Porsche, and Pfizer Pharmaceutical are among those who have used Museum settings. The innovative spaces within and around the Museum provide a unique backdrop. Staff is experienced at providing technical support and service throughout the duration of your session. The following is included in the wedding package: We handle weddings in a very special way at the Museum: When a wedding is scheduled we will not schedule any other events on that evening.

This way the full attention of the staff and building resources are on your special day. This allows weddings to use any or all of the event spaces  in the Quadracci Pavilion  on your day. Available after the museum closes at 5pm, your function can start at 5:30pm or later. All functions need to end at or before midnight. Spaces that are available: Windhover Hall, Baumgartner Terrace (*weather permitting), both the Schroeder & Baumgartner Gallerias, Quadracci Suite, Northwestern Mutual Room, Lubar Auditorium, Café Calatrava, and Cudahy Gardens. Catering by Café Calatrava can cater your special day or a list of preferred caterers can be provided upon request. All wedding planners, florists, and bakeries must be approved by the Museum. The Museum can arrange access to either the featured exhibition or the first floor of the Collection. We can also arrange to open and close the Burke Brise Soliel. Tables: 60" round tables that comfortably seat up to (8) guests, 32" round cocktail tables, 6' and 8' tables. Chairs: (390) white designer chairs Coat racks : (5) and the coatroom (located on the Lower Mezzanine Level) is available for use, if requested. We found very few quality event rental vendors in our area (in fact there’s only one) and Karl’s was still less expensive and better quality, despite being close to 2 hours away.
