The Henry Hall Wilson House is a beautiful venue located in Monroe, North Carolina. Though it is just minutes away from the heart of the city, it feels peaceful and isolated. The house itself is on the North Carolina Historic Registry, because it was originally built between 1926 and 1927. During the 1930s, it was frequently used for galas and other social occasions. Though some of the building has been renovated, it retains its historical architecture and many of the original decorative elements. It has indoor and outdoor special event spaces and can accommodate small- or medium-sized wedding parties. The Lawn is a popular spot for outdoor ceremonies. It can accommodate up to 200 guests. What You Should Know The Henry Hall Wilson House provides a list of vendors from which people can choose. This list includes caterers, photographers, entertainment services and decorators. Those who want to use a vendor outside of this list must get approval from venue management at least 30 days before the event. This venue has a standard event rental fee that covers five hours of event time. Extra time can be arranged in advance for an added fee. In order to secure a date, couples must put down a security deposit. This deposit is refundable as long as no damage is done to the property. All tables and chairs are provided by the venue.
