Picnic areas are found almost everywhere you look. 6 miles west of Garden City Sunrise Campground is close to Bear Lake Summit, just 6 miles west of Garden City and Bear Lake, Utah, at an elevation of 7,800 feet.  A mixed-growth conifer and aspen forest covers the site, providing partial shade and nice privacy between sites.
