Decades Event Center in West Des Moines, Iowa, is the place to book for your wedding or reception, private auction, birthday party, or corporate event. With its rustic decor and intimate lighting, Decades has plenty of space to host your event with all the fix-ins provided. A spacious ballroom and a hand made bar will make for a memorable evening of fun and celebration regardless of the occasion. We can accommodate 300 seated guests or 500 standing. A complimentary ride in our 1961 Bentley Town Car (pictures included), tables, chairs, a stage, linens, and chair covers are complimentary with reserving Decades Event Center. Your rental also includes a host from our team on site for the duration of your event, available to answer any questions you may have throughout the evening. With the already decorated space, little else will be needed. The team from Decades is responsible for set-up and takedown before and after your special event in order to remove some of the stress and restore more of the fun at your event. This includes setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, linens, the stage, and head table. Our staff is also available for unloading/loading items you bring to Decades to your event for a rate of $75/hour with advanced notice and arrangements. Decades Event Center is available for rent Sunday through Thursday: If you are reserving the space for two days, the rental price will be $1,500 for your second day you’re reserving. If available, you can also reserve 3 hours of setup time the night before at $400. All renters are subject to our standard rental time of 8 hours for each day you’ll be renting from us.
