This kit offers vastly improved support. Yes, it takes about 10-15 minutes and some patience to install but it is relatively easy and well worth the effort. The "butterfly pad" seems to rotate the pelvis forward by applying just the right amount of adjustable pressure to the lumbar area of the lower back. My only wish is that I had the Posture Fit and the headrest from the beginning. These improvements have transformed my chair into a precisely supportive cloud for my back. I am ecstatic - it feels like a new chair. The other add-on I highly recommend is:Headrest for Herman Miller Aeron Chair I believe both of these are "must-have" items for this great chair. I am baffled by the negative reviews of this item, the installation was easy and the results outstanding.
