We worked directly with DC Rental to rent the chairs (and cushions), linens (and table pads), a few tables, and coat racks for our wedding. Our contact was fantastic! We picked out quite a few items in advance and when we arrived at the showroom he had them laid out for us to peruse. He also brought out linens he thought would look good with our color scheme and in the venue (with which he was familiar). Turns out we liked his suggestions better than our own selections!
They coordinated directly with our caterer and venue for drop-off and pick-up, and as far as we know everything went perfectly. We'd definitely recommend them! We used DC Rental through our venue. The linens and chair samples they provided were perfect. They even threw in some recommendations that fit our vision. All the rentals were exactly what we asked for. They showed up on time and were picked up accordingly. We rented all of our reception place settings, linens, chairs, and tables through DC Rentals via our catering company. They had an amazing selection of options in their showroom and were very patient as we went through picking out all of our options. We received a lot of compliments with our décor at the wedding, and love that we were able to continue our wedding look through such pretty rentals with DC rentals. I got married in Charlottesville and brought DC Rental's linens (tablecloths and napkins) down with me! DC Rental's selection of linens was just what I was looking for and their showroom is impeccable.
It was so nice to actually have full sized linens to look at instead of a tiny swatch when trying to decide. We were able to put the linens on a round table and set it to make sure it was just what we wanted. The quality of the linens was much superior to other places I looked and their variety is amazing! Hundreds of beautiful linens in tons of different styles and colors so they're bound to have something that fits your look. DC Rental's linens really made a great foundation to a beautiful reception. Wish I could have kept their beautiful blue hemstitch napkins - I loveddddddd them! We had a good experience with DC Rental. They had everything we were looking for and the prices were very reasonable. They worked directly with our wedding venue on the delivery and pick-up which made things a lot easier for us. Thanks to DC Rental, I was able to find a rental vendor that was able to provide 275 gold charger plates for my wedding reception. Claudia was able to recommend me a different gold charger plate that they have more quantity of - and they turned out much better and more beautiful than just plain gold lacquer plates.
They delivered the plates on time and picked up on time as well. We worked with Jenn and changed our minds a ton of times and she was patient and perfectly accommodating! They were back the next morning to pick everything up! The process can be a little overwhelming given the number of choices and combinations available (DC Rental has a very large selection of items), but she walked us through everything. My (now) wife loved every piece that we used from here for the reception and we still get compliments on the tables. Definitely worth checking out! Our wedding was at Eastern Market and we wanted a vintage feel to our rentals. Eastern Market, though, is a blank slate. You have to bring in everything you might need - from knives and forks, to catering equipment, to tables and chairs. Our caterer secured through DC Rental everything she needed for meal prep, as well as linens, chiavari chairs, coordinating chair pads, place settings, and even colored wine glasses (that added such a richness to the table). And all of this was wallet friendly. Everything we secured through DC Rental was top notch, and delivery and take-down was incredibly smooth.
We used DC Rentals for our chairs for the ceremony and the reception (at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria), for our table linens, charger plates, and napkins. The linens were absolutely beautiful and the napkins and charger plates they had were beautiful and worked perfectly with my color scheme and vision of my wedding. I did have a planner for the entire wedding process (Lindsey Farrell of Kelley Cannon Events) so I did not have much contact with DC Rentals, but I worked with them for the selection of the rental pieces and they were professional and friendly and the prices seemed reasonable for the quality of the rentals. I would absolutely use them in the future for any event I was hosting. DC Rental, coordinated by our Caterer, handled our tables, chairs, linens, dishes, and flatware. We went to their show room on a Saturday afternoon with our Caterer, and we were given the royal treatment! We picked out all of the details, and had the chance to see everything in person. We were absolutely thrilled with how kind and professional they were.
DC Rental provided: tablecloths, chair cushions, white outdoor ceremony chairs, dish ware/flatware and glasses. The quality of the rental was good. Pros: professional staff with VERY easy, reliable and quick communication via email. During the actual meeting at DC Rental in the showroom, Jennifer was very knowledgable and took her time showing us many combinations and colors. She was friendly and didn't make you feel like you were being indecisive. Cons: rather expensive and charges large fees for late night or weekend pick-up of rentals. unfinished edge to tablecloths ---they are long, made to fit 8 or 10 top tables and bunch at the ground. some edges are fraying. Overall, very sound company with good customer service. They accommodate last minute changes, which are bound to happen when planning a wedding!! It was a pleasure working with DC Rental. When I went into their showroom to view their wide selection of linens, our salesperson Jennifer was very helpful and patient as I combed through there products.
