I just love the whole concept of it.. decoration, service, food, prices.. are very good... good portions of food and cakes... the only thing that they should improve is the speed in service.. which is a bit slow... Dropped in here a few weeks ago with my wife for an afternoon coffee & treat. There is a lot to take in when you enter the cafe. The walls are full of querkey odd ball art and decorations. This continues all the way into the back and down to the toilets. Some very interesting pieces. The cafe itself is... Great place to sit down, relax and chat away with friends. Intriguing and funky decor caught my eyes while I sipped on my latte.
Quirky Burton-esque place that's kind of hidden away in the City Centre, you won't come across many places like it. I've only ever had the pizza but it's surprisingly delicious, the titular foam pizza in particular being potentially the best I've had in Dublin. This is also the place where I came to the realisation that you can put tea... Visited Foam for a get together with my adult daughter recently. Loved the place the minute we walked in! Fabulous quirky Eatery just off the beaten track between Jervis LUAS stop and a stones throw from Temple Bar. Decor is fascinating with tables and chairs of different shapes and sizes, comfy sofas and nooks and crannies to while away a... Foam is great but could be so much better. I love the funky decor. For Brunch I had a great Omelette.... Not something you see on many menus. I just loved this place. I always went when I lived there. It is a good place to go with friends and spent a lot of times chatting and drinking a delicious hot chocolate and eating a marvelous cheesecake!
I love to go there for dessert and my favorite tea: orange and coconut. I also have been there few times for dinner and they have a lovely pasta with mushrooms and a yummy sauce. Complimentary, there is the peculiar decoration and the staff is always friendly and helpful! Entering Foam Cafe felt like stepping into Parc Güell in Barcelona. Colourful, friendly and sooo welcoming. The cakes are beautiful and the kids loved them. Especially the hot chocolate with mini marshmallows is packed with love. Ah, this place is so inspiring. Lovely cafe, with a different decor. Small seating area (although I've never been upstairs, as it was always closed for lunch), so depending where you sit, you might get the feeling that you are part of the group besides you. Food is good, and price is mid-range.
