"Update to earlier review. The owner Tim reached out to me twice and offered me a generous discount on another bounce. I couldn't refuse and I really wanted to give this family business another shot. Loved our wedding and it all came together with our chairs and decor! Juanita is so sweet and her price is hands down unbeatable. Guests were already walking into the reception. I called her again. She apologized and said she’d refund both charges. Weeks passed and no refund. I called AmEx the entire time, they told me to wait to see if she’d make the reversal first. W/ American Express you must pay it off in full every month. I was out about $1,400! I would call, text, and email Juanita with no response. Thankfully, Amex has excellent fraud protection and after about 2-3 months, the charges were reversed. No one has to go through this, especially during one of the most important times in their lives.

Paying the extra buck for a chair is worth it, if you can find a vendor with consistently great reviews. Saving the extra $1 was not worth all this trouble! The only reason there is even one star is because they were reasonably priced ($4/chair) and as a blissful bride with a great team around me, I was not aware of the issues and the chairs looked nice for my event. 1.) According to my wedding coordinator the delivery was late (so late she started setting up the venue's in-house chairs), the chairs were the wrong color, and there were several that were not in condition to use. The delivery men told her that they were getting new inventory soon, which is why they were damaged. They went back to the storage facility and brought new chairs just as the guests were arriving. 2.) You have to pay the balance in full 30 days in advance of your event. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding knows that you have no idea how many people are coming a month before your wedding.

Why is it that all other vendors let you give final head count 7 days in advance and they need 30?? When I spoke with Juanita and paid my 50% deposit about 35 days out, she said they would just charge the card on file next week to cover the rest. Well 28 days out I got a nasty angry call (I believe from her daughter-in-law) saying I had a past due balance and they were going to cancel my contract if I didn't pay. 3.) About 3 weeks after my wedding I got an email from the site coordinator that they have video of the Elegant Chiavari Chair people stealing a chair cart from the venue the following morning when they picked them up. I emailed, called, and texted Juanita about it and have heard nothing. The venue is incredibly upset about this and will not stop calling me. I do not know what to do now. I would not recommend this vendor to anyone. Juanita is easy and flexible to do business with. I rented chiavari chairs from Juanita for my wedding and they arrived 3.5 hours late!

They arrived as guests were on their way to the reception and only made it in time because we had guests hang around awhile after the ceremony. Yes, it's true that Juanita's rates are the cheapest you will find in all of LA and OC, but it comes at a cost. Although Juanita is a nice lady, she is so unorganized and scattered. I had so little confidence in her (even prior to our wedding) that I specifically asked my wedding coordinator to contact her a few days before the wedding to confirm the date and time. Obviously that was real helpful. Even our first meeting was a disaster. I had an appointment to meet with her at her "show room" to see the chairs and she was over an hour late. I was sitting in my car and had to call her multiple times to see if she was even going to come. Looking back, I should have known better. However, I was on a tight budget and she had also waived the $25 cushion cleaning fee for her tardiness. Also, a good friend of mine had used her for her wedding and didn't experience any issues so I thought it would be okay.

We never even got an apology from Juanita, but I honestly didn't expect one anyways.The chairs were amazing and beautiful. Jaunita can be a little difficult to get a hold but other than that I loved the chairs! GREAT CHAIRS, GREAT PRICE, JUANITA HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY, THE ONLY THING IS THAT THEY ARRIVED A LIL LATE :( Juanita was very nice and her prices are very resonable but her communication is next to none. At one point it took 3 months for us to hear back from her and that was after 3 phone calls, 3 emails and the final email asking if she was no longer renting chairs. The chairs and linens arrived in beautiful condition and were exactly what we wanted. We also rented candy jars from her - if you do so take her up on her deal to pick them up a week in advance they need to be heavily cleaned prior to our wedding, so glad i opened the boxes up! I was a little wary of ordering chairs for this price but my planner (Kristeen LaBrot Events) assured me she had worked with them a lot.

The chairs were fantastic -- you can't beat the price! I found Elegant Chiavari Chairs on the weddingbee boards when I was evaluating whether to go with satin chair covers or spring for the chiavari chairs. My venue offered chiavaris at around $8/ chair through a 3rd party, but when I contacted Elegant Chiavari Chairs they offered the chairs at $4.50/chair and no setup or breakdown fee. They only required this one time cleaning fee - which was pretty nominal. Juanita was also very flexible when it came to our fluctuating guestcount. She held aside extra chairs "just in case" and scaled back when we received our final count. The chairs were beautiful and in perfect condition. We were so glad we paid for the chairs because they really made the tables look very elegant and beautiful. Hands down the best prices for chiavari chairs. If you love the look but not the price tag, do yourself a favor and call Juanita. $4.50 in LA and $4.00 in OC and it includes set up and take down.
