Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open July 10th - 13th Royal Aberdeen Golf Course We had a fantastic few days at the Scottish Open, providing scooters for people to help them access this prestigious event. All the scooters were out every day, and a great time was had by all (the weather was even kind). It was such a success that we hope to be invited to participate in other sporting, public and family events in the future. Aberdeen Harbour Community Action Fund We are delighted to announce that we have received funding from Aberdeen Harbour Community Action Fund worth £25,000 over the next five years.  

This will enable us to pursue our development of Shopmobility Aberdeen into an organisation which provides assistance and support to anyone experiencing barriers to their mobility how so ever caused. Shopmobility Aberdeen has been fortunate enough to receive the services of Andrew Bisset (Andy) as our Writer in Residence.  Schools and comunity groups are being invited to participate in our Community Poem project.  The theme for International Poetry Day this year is Remember and we are asking participating groups to write words and phrases that spring to their minds when they think about the word remember, or the action of remembering, on to large pieces of paper which we will then collect and Andy will then order these words and phrases into a poem.   or by telephone on (01224) 254338.
