Emerald Bay Retirement Community is a newer community built in 2012 and located in a beautifully landscaped and wooded area just off Hwy 29 (across from Maplewood Meats)with easy access via Hwy 29 or from West Mason Street.
Emerald Bay features 1 and 2 bedroom apartments with individually controlled heat and air, emergency call pendants, full baths with showers, kitchens, free internet, daily social activities, planned events, on-site hair salon and barber shop, and a wheelchair accessible van for shopping, medical appointments, and outings. Emerald Bay offers accommodations to those wishing to live in a secure setting with services that expand as needs arise. Residents may be completely independent or require assistance with activities of daily living such as medication administration, bathing, dressing, continence, and mobility. We specialize in chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease, CHF, COPD, etc. Our staff are awake and available by call pendant 24 hours per day. Monthly fees include local telephone, cable television, call pendent, all utilities, and assistance with activities of daily living. Care levels are offered so residents only pay for what they need and can add services as time passes.
